Reitsma (Ritz) joined Javelin in 2017. He manages internal operations and creates on-the-fly content for literary and PR clients including Hudson Institue, Heritage Foundation, and AEI. He also oversaw the multi-thousand dollar production and execution of Encounter Books’ 20th Anniversary Gala in addition to organizing book parties for former FBI Director James Comey and former DNC Chair Donna Brazile. Ritz has secured media coverage for veterans organizations, NASCAR drivers, and others. While completing his B.A in Organizational Communications at Calvin College, Ritz volunteered as a student senator, governance committee member, and orientation leader. He also interned at the Student Leadership and Development Office. Ritz is a Philos Project member and a graduate of the Philos Leadership Institute (2018). An avid soccer fan, Ritz’s hobbies include watching, playing, and coaching soccer, as well as cross-training, and curating music playlists. A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and devout family man, his favorite pastimes include watching the news with his dad and visiting his large transnational family across Europe and Africa.
