Each fall, politicians, military leaders and human rights activists have gathered in Halifax, Nova Scotia to discuss topics ranging from America’s role as a superpower to China’s strengthening economy to the ISIS threat. In 2014, Javelin was brought on to attract a broader US audience, increase print and TV coverage, and draw more US journalists to the forum.
